How an acquisition works.
A disciplined process that starts with your mission and ends with an aircraft that is ready to fly, with your interests protected at every step.
Objectives and mission profile
We start with how you actually fly: routes, passenger counts, runway and range needs, budget, and ownership goals. The aircraft follows the mission, not the other way around.
Market research and shortlist
A full sweep of the market, including off-market and pre-market aircraft through our network, narrowed to the models that genuinely fit your profile.
True cost of ownership
Real pro-forma budgets built on operating data, not thumb-in-the-wind estimates, so you see the full annual cost of each candidate before you commit.
Valuation and offer strategy
Independent valuation benchmarked against actual transactions, paired with a negotiation strategy and a letter of intent written to protect your position.
Pre-purchase inspection
We coordinate a full technical inspection and records review at an approved facility, then manage the findings so they are resolved before closing.
Closing, delivery, and entry into service
Escrow, title, registration, and import or export, plus crew sourcing and entry-into-service support so the aircraft is ready to fly when it is yours.
Why buyers work with TrueSkies.
Aligned to you, only you
We advise the buyer and no one else. No dual-agency, no seller incentives, no pressure toward the aircraft that pays us most.
Real ownership numbers
Pro-forma budgets from actual operating data, so the decision is made on what the aircraft truly costs to own and fly, not a rough estimate.
Off-market access
A global network that surfaces private and pre-market aircraft you will not find on a public listing, widening your options and your leverage.
Acquisition questions, answered.
What owners and owners-to-be ask most before starting a purchase.
Do I have to buy through TrueSkies to use your acquisition advisory?
No. Acquisition advisory is an independent service. We represent you as the buyer regardless of where the aircraft is listed or sourced, and our only job is to help you buy the right aircraft on the right terms.
How do you decide which aircraft is right for me?
We start with your mission: typical routes, passenger counts, non-stop range, runway needs, budget, and how long you plan to own. Only then do we match aircraft categories and specific models to that profile, rather than steering you toward whatever is available.
Do you also represent the seller?
No. On an acquisition we represent the buyer exclusively. Our incentives are aligned with one party, and that is you.
What is a pre-purchase inspection, and do I need one?
A pre-purchase inspection is a thorough technical review of the aircraft and its records at an approved facility before you close. It is one of the most important protections in the transaction, and we coordinate it end to end and manage any findings before funds are released.
Can you help with financing, registration, and importing?
Yes. We coordinate escrow, title and registration, import and export, and financing introductions where needed, plus crew sourcing and entry into service, so the aircraft is ready to operate on delivery.
Ready to buy the right way?
Tell us how you fly and what you're weighing. A senior advisor reviews every request personally and maps the aircraft to your mission before you commit.
